KARA A. MACKENZIE, ESQ. is a partner at the Law Offices of Gina Mendola Longarzo. Kara focuses her practice on employment law and litigates state and federal claims of discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination, and breach of contract. Kara also represents employees in appeals, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations. Prior to joining the firm, she was an Associate Attorney in the Labor and Employment Department at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Kara served as Judicial Law Clerk to New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Stewart G. Pollock. While in law school, Kara was Senior Note Editor of the Hastings Law Journal. Upon graduation, Kara was elected to the Order of the Coif and Thurston Society. At Dartmouth College, Kara was a Rufus Choate Scholar. Kara is a member of the Morris County and New Jersey State Bar Associations and the National Employment Lawyers Association – New Jersey. Kara is also an approved attorney of the New Jersey State PBA Legal Protection Plan.
